Yes, as long as you keep them on a leash. If they are visiting the sheepdog demonstrations they need to be well behaved with other dogs.

From time to time we run events at the Fort - these are well flagged on social media.  Not all events will be appropriate for dogs so check out what's on if you are visiting in July / August

Shipping costs €6 for delivery within the Republic of Ireland & €20 for international deliveries. Tickets are delivered electronically so there is no shipping cost for these.

No the sheepdog area is covered so the sheepdogs go ahead in all weathers. The fort is an outdoor attraction so it's good to prepare for the forecasted weather when visiting.

Wheelchair users can prebook access to our private car park by emailing info@Caherconnell.com. The visitor centre and the sheepdog demonstration area are wheelchair friendly.

The fort is all on one level but the nature of the site means it is uneven and the pathways around it are of gravel, so while a visit there is a little more challenging it is possible.
